Join Worcester Local First and the Highland Street Business Association on "think local first" holiday trip along Worcester's bustling Highland Street. Worcester Local First and the Highland Street on Thursday, December 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. Holiday on Highland is proudly produced by WLF and HSBA founding members Nat Needle and Mihoko Wakabayashi of Saori Worcester Weaving Studio & Gallery at 131 Highland St., Elizabeth Hughes of The Futon Company 129 Highland St. and Maria Pappas Liliana Silkman of Unique Boutik at 123 Highland St. The celebration is free and open to all. You and your family and friends will be treated to the following during Holiday on Highland:
- A raffle with prizes of gifts from Highland Street businesses.
- 10% price reduction at participating Highland Street businesses.
- Live music.
- Complimentary light refreshments.
- Complimentary wine tastings.
- Complimentary Saori weaving opportunities.
- A contest to tell us what the initials "HSBA" stand for (besides "Highland Street Business Association").
