Worcester Local First & Canal District Business Association to hold Networking Party on November 11 at 86 Winter American Bistro
Join Worcester Local First and the Canal District Business Association for a Networking Party on Tuesday, November 11 from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 86 Winter American Bistro, located at 65 Water St. in Worcester's growing Canal District. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be served. A cash bar will be available.
The event is open to Worcester Local First and Canal District Business Association current and prospective members and their guests.
The keynote speaker will be Laury Hammel, founder CEO of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Boston, with which Worcester Local First is affiliated, and co-author with Gun Denhart of Growing Local Value: How to Build Business Partnerships that Strengthen Your Community. He will talk about "New Business Ideas for a Tough Economy."
Worcester Local First will distribute free copies of our brand new 2008 Business Directory, which is loaded with information about our 200+ members as well as the Local First campaign that is sweeping the nation.
