After the installation, each of the 66 Banners will be gifted to SPONSORS who make tax-deductible gifts to the SAORI Scholarship Fund, managed by ARTSWorcester. These scholarships will benefit low-income children and their families, mostly within walking distance of our inner-city studio. The labor, materials, and cost of shipping of the banners to Worcester are all being donated by SAORI Banner Weavers. DURING THE 5-DAY INSTALLATION: FUN EVENTS DAILY = MAKE FRIENDS!


Every day of the Installation (Wednesday through Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.), weather permitting, we will have an informal Free Weaving and Acoustic Sing-Along Gathering on the lawn by the Red Bridge. We'll also have a big ukulele -- bring your own musical instruments -- and a loom on hand plus refreshments (NO alcohol), portable SAORI loom, lawn chairs, etc.
